‘Lunar Whisper,’ the inaugural instalment of my ongoing ‘Emanation Series,’ is an artistic odyssey delving into forms that encapsulate internal emotions. As I crafted these three distinctive pots, a profound harmony emerged between my personal feelings and their expressive embodiment. These vessels signify my exploration into thematic series, propelling me into new artistic dimensions.

The unique organic shapes harmonise to narrate a tale of translating internal emotions into tangible art through their interaction with the surrounding space. The grey glaze mirrors an outward calmness, concealing a dynamic internal movement akin to waves within a serene body. The surface texture evokes lunar craters, with a subtle hint of green symbolising the gradual development of moss on stagnant water.

Blending the disparate realms of the moon’s surface and common moss textures, I endeavour to forge a fantastical sculpture that ventures into uncharted territory. Crafting these pieces involves delving into an elusive part of myself, mirroring the boundary between the intangible and the tangible, much like the unlikelihood of moon rock and moss textures converging. This exploration captures the essence of making the intangible palpable in a uniquely fitting manner.

The ‘Emanation Series’ is an exploration of the cosmic dance between my hands and the malleable nature of clay. Each piece within the series originates from the same starting point, emphasising my commitment to following the organic flow of creation. The process is a dynamic interplay between intention and surrender, resulting in bulges and curves that reflect the ebb and flow of emotions coursing through my mind. The clay, once a neutral canvas, absorbs and expresses my emotional states during the building process. The resulting shapes carry a living soul, each piece encapsulating a distinct emotional journey.
